p365.org is a not-for-profit development by Simon Hopkinson and Steve Bentley at UK Computing Team Network (UKCT), based on a suggestion made by Matt Holmes.

Having decided to launch their own Project365 photography projects, Steve and Simon decided to offer the opportunity for friends, and friends of friends, to participate in the same project. Thus p365.org was born.

The initial development took around a week and a half, over the Christmas and New Year 2009/2010 period, but the website remains in perpetual development.

p365.org is advert-free. The motivation for the project is not in any way commercial. Everyone is welcome to join in.
