I wanted a picture today that reflected both the end of this project and the fact that it ends on January 1. Most of you in the UK (and many in the US) probably won't get this without a little explanation. In the American South it's traditional to eat black-eyed peas on Jan. 1 to guarantee good luck for the rest of the year.

Although I'm finishing the second p365 in a row, I'm thinking of starting something new for 2012. Not daily, but perhaps the best photo of the week.
