Those that know me, know I'm abominably unfit. Years of slouching over a hot computer have taken their toll, and I've become something of a lump.
To address this problem, I've begun a regime of daily walks. Though I intend to be walking to Top Withens and back by the time summer gets under way, I'm beginning from something of a standing start. Hills are challenging. St Ives Estate, though, looks like the ideal place for me to commence. The walks aren't too arduous, though there's plenty of undulation, and there is absolutely loads to see along the different paths. Today I began to explore the estate with a walk with my camera around Coppice Pond, and a few photos at the bird hide - the same place as yesterday.
I stuck with my 105mm lens today. Though it's manual focus, it's pretty fast and its bokeh is beautiful. Famous, in fact. Not bad, I don't think, for a lens made in 1970. :o)
